Winthrop Washington

This is a wonderful little town...hidden in the Cascades of Washington.
We took the shuttle from KOA to town and it dropped us off at the museum. So here are pictures from the museum.

Bellingham to Winthrop

If you ever get the chance to make the Hwy 20 drive...DO IT!!
We have lived in Bellingham..11 years now and have never driven this way.
The drive is spectacular. The little towns along the way are neat. We did not have time to stop, but may have to go back and do the Dam tours..actually the route out to Silverwood we passed several dams.

Blog Name change

Yes, I have decided to use this blog to share about our adventures, vs our daily lives. I have facebook for daily lives and happenings. This will now be used for adventures, vacations, hikes, etc.
The family exploring this wonderful country we live in.

So with that said...stay tuned..depending on internet access..there will be postings happening. As we head out on summer vacation across Washington, Idaho to Montana.

The house/dog sitters are instructed, lectured..as in DO NOT leave the dogs outside in the kennel all day.
